My Approach
As a Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist, my approach is relational and we will work together to explore any issues that matter to you. While certain issues like anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, grief, traumatic experiences/developmental trauma or simply feeling stuck are some of the common reasons why people come to therapy, each individual's experience is unique. I like about the Humanistic Integrative approach to psychotherapy that it is not a one-size-fits-all model, but that it honours the uniqueness of each person’s situation and needs.
I draw from Gestalt Therapy, Existentialism and Person-Centred Therapy as well as integrating elements from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I believe in the fundamental equality of all humans, regardless of their background and life story, and that we all have the potential to grow and change. I have a deep appreciation for the complex and dynamic nature of human existence, taking into account the wider context of your life.
